Update on Benito Patena
Greetings from Uvalde Texas,
The weather here has been in the mid 70's - upper 80's. It's been raining every other day, but it's much needed. We've been under flood & tornado adviseries as well, but we haven't gotten anything but rain, thank God.
My Dad (Benito Patena) and I (Marisol Patena) are doing alright.
He's doing a little better. I'm including a picture that I took last week.
Dad's not able to move the right side of his body and no speech yet but we remain positive. Thanks for all the prayers.
I keep myself busy in the home and in the yard. The roses are in full bloom and some of the trees in the yard should be ready next month. (Figs & Peaches) There are around 20 different fruit trees in the yard but most of them are not yet mature.
I talk to my Sisters on a regular basis.
My Sister, Fela and her husband, Joe along with a friend of theirs, are driving down to Texas as we speak. Their friend will be visiting family in San Antonio while Fela & Joe visit us and making a stop in South Texas.
They wanted to be down here for Mother's Day and will be visiting for two weeks.
My Dad & I look forward to seeing them!
I'm not sure when we'll be up there to visit but soon, I hope.
Take care RAZA and have fun at the family picnic!
Your Cousin, Marisol Patena
